    Do I need an electrician or any wiring?

    No. The light runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so there are no cables, outlets or switches involved. If you can hang a picture, you can put this up.

    How do I install it?

    Two ways, both take about five minutes. Stick the mounting plate to the ceiling with the included adhesive strips (no holes, perfect for renters) or fix it with the two included screws. Then simply click the light onto the plate.

    How long does one charge last?

    About 1–2 months in Auto mode, where the light only turns on when someone walks by. If you keep it on all the time it runs for hours rather than weeks, so Auto mode is the best choice for everyday use.

    How do I charge it?

    Take it off the mounting plate and plug in the included USB-C cable, just like a phone. Charging it overnight is the easiest routine.

    Can I use it in the bathroom, the shower or outside?

    Yes. It's IP65 water-resistant, so steam, splashes and shower spray are no problem. It also works great on covered porches, in sheds and in garages. Just don't put it under water.

    How does the motion sensor work?

    In Auto mode it notices movement across a wide 150° angle and turns on the moment you walk in. Once the room is empty again, it switches itself off. Want it on all the time? Switch to On mode with the button or the remote.

    Can I change the color and brightness?

    Yes. With the remote you can pick cozy warm white, bright daylight or one of 18 colors and dim it up or down, right from the couch, the bed or the bathtub.

    How big is it?

    7 × 7 in and just 1.8 in slim (18 × 18 × 4.6 cm). It sits close to the ceiling and fits nicely into closets, pantries and hallways.
